Job summary

Logan Health Brendan House in Kalispell, Montana is seeking a full-time Certified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing therapy team. You will help residents regain strength, improve mobility, and maintain independence under a Physical Therapist’s supervision.

The ideal candidate is a Montana-licensed PTA with CPR certification, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently as part of a collaborative care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant program approved by the APTA.
• Licensed or eligible for Montana PTA license.
• Current CPR certification applicable to area.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist with individualized treatment plans to meet resident goals.
• Deliver care reflecting resident age, culture, and functional needs.
• Document treatments, progress, and outcomes in the EMR.
• Follow therapy standards, payer guidelines, and department expectations.
• Collaborate with the care team on resident goals, progress, and discharge plans.
