Job summary

Concept Rehab, Inc. seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time role in Monroe, MI to help patients improve mobility and independence in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.

You will work under a licensed PT, implement individualized plans, document progress, and educate patients and families while collaborating with the care team. New grads are encouraged to apply and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Michigan PTA license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• A compassionate, patient-focused approach to rehabilitation.
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is a plus.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to improve strength, balance, mobility, and functional independence.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising PT.
• Document treatments and patient responses accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, therapists, patients, and families to support quality care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility, and safety techniques.
