Job summary

San Francisco Post Acute in San Francisco, CA is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Compensation ranges from $48 to $52 per hour, depending on experience, with full-time benefits and a supportive post-acute care environment.

The PTA will provide therapy under a licensed Physical Therapist, help residents improve strength and mobility, and participate in treating residents to regain independence.

Qualifications

• Current, valid California PTA license required.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT treatments under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Help residents improve strength, balance, mobility, and independence.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions.
• Monitor resident responses and communicate progress to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Educate and encourage residents throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team members to support resident-centered care.
• Follow facility policies, clinical standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
