SSM Health Rehabilitation-Acute Care at St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, MO is seeking a full-time Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. Orthopedic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in a PTA program is required.
• Current and valid state PTA licensure or eligibility is required.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation of the therapy plan of care under the direct supervision of a licensed PT.
• Delegate and direct supportive personnel to enhance patient care.
• Communicate with supervising PT about patient needs, assessments, and treatment plan modifications.
• Educate patients, families, students, coworkers, and self.
• Perform other professional duties within the scope of practice.
