Tender Touch Rehab Services is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant in New Jersey for a full-time position in skilled nursing/long-term care settings. The PTA will work under a licensed Physical Therapist and provide therapy aligned with state guidelines, ensuring accurate patient selection and proper referrals.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to apply.
• Associate's degree from an APTA-accredited PTA program.
• Current PTA license in state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following state practice guidelines.
• Assist in identifying appropriate patients for therapy and coordinate with the PT for evaluation and referral.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintain documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all required physician orders are obtained and up to date.
