Pivot Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at Pivot at Bonne Vie in Port Arthur, TX. This full-time PTA position offers a competitive package and a starting pay rate of $33 per hour, with a 401k match plus comprehensive benefits.

The PTA will treat patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, document treatments, participate in team meetings, and uphold state PT guidelines while contributing to patient progress and care plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license in practicing state.
• Must have good communication skills and be able to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients’ family members, and staff.
• Must be capable of performing the Responsibilities of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Treats patients as directed by the physical therapist.
• Records treatments given in medical record.
• Participates in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings.
• Communicates with supervising therapist, rehab director and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans.
• Participates in facility in-service training programs.
• Records daily treatments and labor according to corporate procedure and state Physical Therapy rules.
