Huntington Park Nursing Center in Huntington Park, CA, is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house therapy team. Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will provide rehabilitative care to patients with functional impairments and contribute to a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and assistive devices under PT supervision.
• Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
