Apploi is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Worcester, MA to support residents' functional goals in a long-term care setting. The PTA will assist the PT by implementing treatment plans, documenting progress, and ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.

Qualified candidates are graduates of an APTA-accredited PTA program and eligible for licensure in Massachusetts; prior LTC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of APTA accredited PTA program and eligible for licensure in the state they are practicing in.
• Prior long-term care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Complies with ethical, regulatory, and professional standards per licensure state.
• Assists PT in delivering PT treatments per Plan of Care.
• Manages caseload with supervisor by scheduling individualized or group treatments.
• Instructs residents, families, and caregivers for PT plan continuation after discharge.
• Adheres to PPS guidelines; ensures PT documentation and billing comply with policies.
• Provides supervision of techs and assists in student education under PT.
• Ensures clean, safe, and orderly environment and equipment.
• Maintains resident confidentiality and privacy.
• Knows and complies with Residents’ Bill of Rights.
• Reports rehab incidents to RD and Regional Operations Specialist.
• Maintains professional competence and ongoing PT education.
• Attends mandatory in-services.
