Job summary

Siloam Springs Health and Rehab in Siloam Springs, AR is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time position in a skilled nursing facility. The PTA will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver mobility-improving therapies and restore function for residents.

Responsibilities include implementing plans, monitoring progress, collaborating with care teams, and educating residents and caregivers. AR PTA license and CPR are required or obtainable on hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current and valid PTA license in the state of Arkansas.
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a SNF or geriatric care setting preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans as established by the Physical Therapist.
• Conduct therapy sessions in accordance with resident care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and document responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and nursing staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises and techniques to aid recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
