Job summary

Prava Therapy is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the Cambridge Village of Wilmington team in Wilmington, NC. You will work with a Physical Therapist to deliver exceptional, resident-centered care in a community setting.

This role emphasizes functional, goal-oriented therapy focused on independence and quality of life for older adults, with opportunities to collaborate across disciplines and utilize AI-enabled documentation tools.

Qualifications

• Holds a current North Carolina PTA license.
• Loves working with older adults and builds relationships with residents.
• Communicates with families and interdisciplinary teams.
• Thrives in a functional, purposeful therapy approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PT interventions under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
• Treat residents across the senior living continuum.
• Help residents improve strength, balance, gait, endurance, mobility, and functional performance.
• Implement individualized plans of care with clinical judgment and resident goals.
• Monitor and communicate changes in resident condition and functional status.
• Provide resident and caregiver education and reinforce home programs.
• Collaborate with nursing, caregivers, families, wellness staff, and community team.
• Document efficiently using modern technology and AI-enabled tools.
