Job summary

South Pacific Rehab Services is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant for a full-time position in a hospital setting. The PT Aide will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting with patient selection, therapy evaluations, and referrals within state guidelines.

The role requires an APTA-accredited PTA program degree, an active PTA license in the practice state, and strong communication and organizational skills to support high-quality patient care and documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current license as Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following state practice guidelines.
• Assist in identifying appropriate patients for therapy and coordinate with the PT for evaluation and referral.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintain documentation to meet all regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all required physician orders are obtained and up to date.
