Job summary

Adventist HealthCare’s Shady Grove Medical Center - Behavioral Health seeks an experienced Psychiatric Technician to support patient care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a faith-based setting.

The role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus (paid in installments) and a 36-hour work week with a 6:45am–7:15pm schedule, three 12-hour shifts, and weekend rotation. It includes comprehensive benefits and adherence to safety and clinical standards.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in related field.
• Active High School Diploma or GED as minimum education.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Prior inpatient behavioral health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates patient-professional collaboration at all levels of health care.
• Monitors therapeutic treatment according to protocols.
• Collaborates with the treatment team to develop care protocols and procedures.
• Incorporates clinical guidelines into patient care.
