Job summary

Clearwater Housing Development Corporation (CHDC) is seeking a Painter to maintain and improve the physical quality of assigned properties, including vacant and resident apartments and common areas. Tasks include mixing, matching, and applying paint, completing touchups, and coordinating large painting projects.

The role operates under the Maintenance Supervisor and Capital Maintenance Officer. This is a full-time position in Clearwater, FL, 8am–5pm, Tuesday through Saturday, benefits-eligible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Experience with painting tasks and surface prep preferred.
• Ability to work on ladders and in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned painting projects as directed.
• Prepare surfaces and patch holes, sand and texture to match existing surfaces.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
