Job summary
The Clearwater Housing Development Corporation (CHDC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to maintain and improve our residential properties in Clearwater, FL. You will perform repairs in vacant apartments and common areas, diagnosing issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliances while upholding safety and quality.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate required.
- One year of experience in trades such as carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, appliances or electrical maintenance.
- Computer proficiency in Windows OS and MS Office software.
- Valid Florida Driver’s License required.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs in vacant apartments, residential units, and common areas.
- Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues.
- Maintain property grounds by removing trash and debris.
- Work under Capital Maintenance Officer direction, with standard daytime hours and on-call rotation.
