This is a full-time position. The primary responsibility is to take excellent care of our customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations skills, and cooperation with fellow associates to create an incredible place to work and shop.
Responsibilities include processing, packaging, and stocking produce according to standards, cleaning work areas, providing customer service, unloading stock, and reloading salvage. The role may also involve performing duties of floral clerk when assigned.

Personal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, willingness to participate in training, and teamwork to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training; or equivalent.
Language Skills: Ability to read, comprehend, and write in English; effective in small group and one-on-one communication.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic addition and subtraction, handle money, and measure weight.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to follow detailed instructions and solve problems involving concrete variables.
Certificates and Licenses: Completion of company training including orientation, sanitation, safety, and product knowledge.
Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, handle objects, reach, talk, hear, taste, smell, and lift/move up to 60 pounds. Visual abilities include close vision, color, and depth perception.
Work Environment: Frequently in a cool, humid environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, chemicals, and loud noise levels. Accommodations can be made for disabilities.
