VHC Health in Alexandria, VA is seeking a dedicated Primary Care Nurse Practitioner for our Kingstowne outpatient practice. Formación

• Master’s degree in Nursing required.
• RN license in Virginia or compact state required.
• NP license from Virginia preferred.
• National NP Certification required or eligible.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive primary care services, including health assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of acute and chronic conditions.
• Conduct preventive care visits, health screenings, and patient education.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
• Prescribe medications and develop appropriate treatment plans in accordance with scope of practice.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Adhere to clinical guidelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing required


• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Virginia Department of Health Professions or Compact State Licensure required

• BLS and ACLS certifications required
