Job summary

Monterey County Office of Education is seeking a Preschool Teacher for the Early Learning Program. Under general supervision, you will teach 3-5 year olds using developmentally appropriate practices and foster exploration, problem solving and social growth in a supportive classroom environment.

Requirements include an Associate degree in early childhood education or related field with relevant coursework, a valid California credential or higher, and CPR/First Aid training.

Qualifications

• Possession of an Associate degree in early childhood education or equivalent coursework.
• Hold a valid California teaching credential or higher (Child Development Teacher Permit or higher).
• Core coursework in growth and development, family/community, or ECE curriculum.
• At least 175 days of preschool teaching in group settings with relevant experience.
