Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring a full-time Prep Cook in Mahwah, NJ (Stryker location). Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Prior deli experience and ability to slice meats and cheese, assemble sandwiches, and take orders are preferred. Shift meal is included; referral bonus available.

Responsibilities include following recipes and production sheets, preparing items, maintaining HACCP standards, and serving customers efficiently. Online applications are accepted only.

Qualifications

• Previous deli experience preferred.
• Experience slicing meats and cheese, assembling sandwiches, and taking orders is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Prepares items on production sheets following quantities and recipes.
• Completes and follows daily production worksheets and waste logs; tastes meals for quality.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items; follows HACCP guidelines.
• Completes required documentation and reports; complies with health and sanitation regulations.
• Takes orders from customers and prepares items with short prep times.
• Serves customers efficiently and courteously; handles multiple stations.
