Job summary

Eurest, part of Compass Group, is seeking a full-time Prep Cook at the Rocky Mount, NC location to prepare items per recipes and production schedules.

Responsibilities include serving customers, maintaining HACCP compliance, and ensuring quality across stations while working a 6:30 am–2:30 pm schedule. Prior food service experience is required; advancement opportunities exist within Eurest.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of food service experience in a restaurant, club, or equivalent.
• Full-time availability; Monday–Friday, 6:30 am–2:30 pm.
• Located in Rocky Mount, NC or willing to commute.

Responsibilities

• Prepares items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes.
• Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Completes and follows daily production worksheets and waste log sheets; tastes meals to ensure quality.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items according to policy; follows HACCP guidelines.
• Takes and serves orders from customers and ensures proper portion control.
