Job summary

Flik Independent School Dining is hiring a full-time Prep Cook at Oakwood School in North Hollywood, CA. You will prepare items, follow recipes, and support the kitchen team to serve students and staff with quality meals.

Requirements include prior cooking and food service experience; hours are Monday–Friday with varying times. This role offers competitive pay ($18.00–$20.00/hr) and benefits through the FISD program.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking and food service experience required.
• Location: Oakwood School - 11600 Magnolia Boulevard, North Hollywood, CA 91601.

Responsibilities

• Prepares items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes.
• Completes and follows daily production worksheets and waste log sheets.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items according to policy. Follows HACCP guidelines.
• Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation time.
• Serves customers in an efficient and friendly manner.
