Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring for a full-time Prep Cook at Mayo Clinic in Fairmont, MN. You will prepare meals for patients and staff in a fast-paced environment, following recipes, safety standards, and production schedules.

Hours are 9:00 am to 3:30 pm or 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, with rotating weekends and holidays. Prior cooking experience is preferred. The role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow within a nationwide healthcare culinary team.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Prepares items on production sheets following quantities and recipes.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items according to policy and HACCP guidelines.
• Takes orders from customers and prepares items with short prep time.
• Serves customers efficiently and friendly.
• Follows production standards to ensure quality and portion control.
