Job summary

Total Staffing and QFS in Aurora, IL is seeking an Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The role handles assembling products, recording production data, and entering information into NetSuite for labor tracking.

Work hours are 7:00am–5:30pm, Monday through Thursday, with overtime on Fridays as needed. You will use air-powered tools, clamps, punch presses and other equipment, read tape measures, and follow quality and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend written and verbal instructions and follow established procedures
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to use technology on a basic level

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders based on production goals while maintaining a consistent and time-conscious pace.
• Keeps accurate records of production quantities and assembly duration.
• Enters accurate production information into NetSuite for labor tracking purposes.
• Takes precise measurements to ensure fit of product components.
• Reports any issues, malfunctions, or defects of parts to ensure accurate usable inventory levels.
• Uses airpower tools, clamps, punch presses, and other heavy equipment for the assembly of products.
• Understands quality control standards and reports any observed quality concerns related to parts or product.
• Follows safety standards as set forth by operating procedures.
• Must feel comfortable using a tablet for the work orders and using NetSuite and Delfoi
