Job summary

Castle Subaru of Portage in Indiana is seeking a Full-Time Porter to maintain vehicle appearance, assist with inventory, and support the dealership team. Responsibilities include cleaning interiors and exteriors, tagging vehicles, moving cars as directed, and delivering vehicles between locations.

The ideal candidate has reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a positive, customer-friendly attitude.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicle appearance by cleaning interiors and exteriors.
• Replenish fluids and replace batteries as needed.
• Place buyer guides and stock tags on vehicles.
• Keep lot neat and move cars as directed by the GM.
• Drive vehicles to requested areas and retrieve/deliver as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Full-Time Porter Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory appearance and performance by cleaning the interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary
• Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles
• Keep lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards
• Drive vehicles to and from requested areas as needed
• Make key tags for and handle the inventory of vehicles
• Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Full-Time Porter Qualifications

• Ability to work assigned hours
• Knowledge of automotive dealership operations is a plus
• Positive attitude, can-do mentality, confident, outgoing personality, eagerness to improve High school diploma or equivalent
• Professional attitude and the ability to deliver best-in-class customer service
• Reliable transportation to and from work every single day
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Porter: $15 - $20 per hour
