Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Texas Educational Aide Certificate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and manage student behavior.
• Willingness to grow professionally and work with diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher with lesson plans and activities.
• Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students, including those with IEPs or 504 plans as needed.
• Monitor student behavior and maintain a safe classroom environment.
• Supervise students during transitions, recess, lunch, and other non-instructional times.
• Support students with special needs in accordance with IEP/504 plans.
