Job summary

General Medicine is a national, tech-enabled medical group redefining adult primary care through telemedicine and AI-enhanced workflows. As an early-stage startup, we move fast and shape the care delivery model from the ground up.

You will deliver high-quality adult primary care via video, including Medicare/Medicaid patients, and collaborate with a subspecialist network while helping build clinical guidelines and operational processes. Remote work offered.

Qualifications

• MD or DO, board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active, unrestricted US medical license (multi-state required; credentialing support provided).
• Significant outpatient primary care experience.
• Eligible to see Medicare and Medicaid patients (enrolled or willing to enroll as a participating provider).
• Must reside in the United States and deliver all care from within the US.
• DEA license required for credentialing.

As an early team member, you won't just practice medicine— you'll help shape the clinical model, quality standards, and operational playbook for a care delivery system designed to scale.

What You'll Do

• Deliver high-quality adult primary care via video and asynchronous (chat/triage) telemedicine — 36 clinical hours per week.
• Care for a diverse patient population including Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries.
• Collaborate with a subspecialist network across medical and surgical disciplines.
• Leverage AI-enhanced workflows (Nabla scribe AI, automated routing, integrated clinical notes) to maximize clinical decision-making time.
• Help build clinical guidelines, quality standards, and operational processes as an early team member.

Practice Model

Platforms: Athena (EMR) · Zoom (video) · Zendesk (chat) · Slack (team) · Nabla (scribe AI)

Visit Types: Synchronous video (20-min appointments, max 9 per 4-hr block) and asynchronous triage/chat (3-hr response window).

Shifts: 4–6 hour blocks (Mon–Fri, 7 AM–7 PM MT; weekend/evening expansion underway). Non-clinical tasks handled by operations.

Scope: Adult medicine only. No pediatrics, advanced psychiatry, or controlled substances.

Qualifications

• MD or DO, board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• 2+ years of experience in primary care clinics.
• Active, unrestricted US medical license (multi-state required; credentialing support provided).
• Significant outpatient primary care experience — seasoned clinicians with depth in ambulatory adult medicine.
• Eligible to see Medicare and Medicaid patients (enrolled or willing to enroll as a participating provider).
• Must reside in the United States and deliver all care from within the US.
• Comfortable with telemedicine platforms and technology-driven workflows. DEA license required for credentialing.

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation range: $180,000–$200,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and scope of responsibilities.
