Job summary

Aspire Allergy & Sinus is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Allergist to join our Phoenix-area clinics. You will oversee allergy testing, diagnose and treat allergic conditions, and mentor clinical staff across multiple Phoenix metro sites. Travel between Tempe, Chandler, and Mesa clinics is required.

The role emphasizes delivering precise patient care, mentorship, and collaboration with ENT specialists and mid-level providers in a fast-paced allergy practice.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with AZ medical license required.
• Minimum 2 years of allergy experience.
• Experience in food allergy, including challenges, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage allergy testing using Percutaneous and Intracutaneous methods.
• Deliver quality patient care during assessment, exam, and treatment options.
• Diagnose or treat allergic/immunologic conditions and provide Oral Immunotherapy.

They will deliver a memorable experience for our patients with each interaction they have, ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction are top of mind. They will practice precision everywhere including providing allergy testing and treatment to patients 2 years old and above. They will share responsibility with their peers and the rest of the clinical team to ensure the clinic is running smoothly. They will exemplify integrity in everything that they do, always doing what is best for our team and our patients.

The Physician will mentor all clinical staff by showing exceptional leadership skills and leading by example.

Location(s):

This position supports clinics throughout the Phoenix metro area, including our locations in Phoenix including: Tempe, Chandler, and Mesa. Specific clinic assignments and scheduling details will be discussed during the interview and recruitment process. Flexibility to travel between clinics within the metro area is required.

Typical clinic operating hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

What You'll Be Doing

• Oversee and manage both food and environmental allergy testing for patients by utilizing both Percutaneous Allergy Skin Testing and Intracutaneous Allergy Testing.
• Deliver quality care to patient (during assessment, physical exam, and treatment options)
• Diagnose or treat allergic or immunologic conditions
• Oral Immunotherapy Treatment
• Order or perform diagnostic tests, such as skin pricks, intradermal, Patch or others as needed
• Intake and assessment of new patient
• Request necessary history and treatment plans from outside providers when indicated
• Create a plan of care/treatment plan for new patients
• Direct patient care including medical assessments and follow-ups
• Set an example of compassionate and knowledgeable medical care
• Stay abreast of developments in Allergy/Immunology and regularly communicate relevant information to other providers in the center
• Oversee Midlevel providers in practice
• Participate in meetings as appropriate and/or as requested by the medical director
• Manage an appropriate caseload including paperwork; charting to be completed within 48 hours of the patient visit
• Work collaboratively with team members to diagnose, manage and evolve patient care
• Travel to assigned sites
• Provide mentorship to Clinical staff.
• Develop relationships with referring medical providers and the local medical community.
• Attend lunches and events with the assigned territory provider relationship rep. to help garner credibility and market Aspire.
• Adhere to standard metrics with respect to testing, treatment and IOP conversions
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

• MD/DO with a minimum of two years of experience in Allergy
• Experience in food allergy, including food challenges
• Must be licensed in state of assigned clinic location as an MD or DO
• Must have a valid driver’s license
