Job summary

Iredell Health System in Statesville, NC seeks a Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate and treat patients as ordered by physicians, following hospital policies and standards of practice. You will provide independent physical therapy services and support functional restoration for diverse patient populations.

Role requires current NC PT licensure (or eligibility), CPR certification, and completion of competency-based orientation addressing pediatric to geriatric needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold current NC licensure as a Physical Therapist or be eligible for licensure.
• CPR certification required; if not current, must complete upon hire.
• Competency-based orientation covering pediatric, adult, and geriatric skills.
• Ability to perform required physical tasks including lifting up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy evaluations and therapy services to patients as ordered by a physician.
• Work independently within hospital policies and standards of practice.
• Assist patients in restoration of function and prevention of disability.
