Qualifications:

• A Physical Therapy Assistant Degree from an Accredited Program.
• Hold a valid or pending State Physical Therapy Assistant License.

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Verify client information by interviewing the client; reviewing and/or recording medical history; confirming purpose of treatment.
• Help clients improve their quality of life by assisting them in overcoming limitations, such as helping injured workers improve motor skills and re-enter the labor force, and teaching persons with learning disabilities to live with increased independence, including using public transportation and increasing mobility independence.
• Implement treatment plans through direct treatment and collaboration with Physical Therapists, as well as educating other team members and family members involved in the treatment plan.
