Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team and work under the guidance of a Physical Therapist. You will support patients by following individualized care plans and helping facilitate functional outcomes.

The role involves assisting with all phases of physical therapy, documenting patient responses, and maintaining clear communication with the PT, Rehab Director, and facility staff while operating standard therapy equipment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or PTA certification as required by state licensure.

In this role, you’ll assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Physical Therapists.

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of physical therapist, develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
