Vineyards Assisted Living & Vibrant Life in Kalamazoo, MI is hiring a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient therapy teams. This split-site role provides continuity with two welcoming senior communities while offering the stability of a full-time schedule.

You will work with compassionate clinicians to maintain residents' independence, with mentorship opportunities for new grads and ongoing professional development for experienced therapists.

Qualifications

• Must hold Michigan PTA license and be in good standing.
• Experience in outpatient settings or geriatric care preferred.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled outpatient physical therapy services under supervising PT.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to improve strength, mobility, balance, and independence.
• Monitor progress and communicate changes with the PT and care team.
• Develop relationships with residents, families, and staff across two locations.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative therapy environment across Vineyards and Vibrant Life.

What You’ll Do

• Provide skilled outpatient physical therapy services under the direction of a Physical Therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve strength, mobility, balance, and independence
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary team
• Develop strong relationships with residents, families, and community staff
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative therapy environment across both locations

What You Bring

• Current Michigan Physical Therapist Assistant license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Outpatient, AL/IL, or geriatric experience preferred
