Join Our Team as a Full-Time Physical Therapist at Stonington School District

Stonington Public Schools is seeking a dedicated physical therapist to join our Special Services Team for the 2025-2026 school year. This district-wide, full-time position begins on July 1, 2025, and includes summer hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings and assessments
• Provide direct and indirect therapy services
• Collaborate and consult with school teams and families
• Support students with complex or multiple disabilities
• Work with early childhood and preschool populations
• Participate in home visits and collaborate with medical providers
• Per diem summer hours may be required
• Service to students PreK through age 22

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
• Knowledge of early childhood developmental milestones
• Strong ability to work as part of a highly collaborative team
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility to manage a district-wide schedule

Salary aligns with the Stonington Education Association collective bargaining agreement; however, this position follows SPS conditions of employment for all other benefits.
