Job summary

Functional Pathways seeks a dedicated Full-time Physical Therapist to join Tennessee State Veterans Home in Knoxville, TN. You will screen, evaluate, and revise plans of care under physician supervision, and collaborate with staff to optimize resident outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a PT degree (Bachelors/Master/Doctorate), an active license, strong organizational and communication skills, and ability to supervise PTAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Active state license required.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and re-evaluate residents as part of the plan of care.
• Discharge planning and revisions under physician supervision.
• Collaborate with therapy team to support residents’ goals.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants as needed.
