Previous professional animal-care experience is preferred, but not required. Kennelwood provides training on our established pet-care procedures and expectations.
Pet care is a 7-day-a-week operation, so schedules may include weekdays, early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak occupancy periods. Availability requirements will vary based on the specific opening and location.
This is an active, hands-on position. Boarding Attendants regularly stand and walk for extended periods; bend, kneel, crouch, and reach; and regularly lift or carry approximately 40 pounds and occasionally up to approximately 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. If you're looking for more than just a job and want the opportunity to make a difference in the daily care and well-being of pets, we'd love to hear from you.
