Job description

Summary: Responsible for safely, accurately and efficiently selecting, stacking and wrapping product, within establishment guidelines for shipment to stores. Must ensure that finished pallets are placed in the proper loading area and that records of outed product and daily production are maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Select product ordered using approved methods with a minimum productivity level of 95% of the engineered standards.
2. Use voice selecting equipment properly.
3. Stack cases effectively and safely on pallets to ensure that product is not damaged.
4. Convey product from storage area to designated shipping areas.
5. Sort and place product or items on pallets or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, or product code.
6. Fill requisitions or requests for stock items.
7. Shrink wrap product on pallet according to procedure.
8. Mark products or items with identifying information.
9. Use computer to enter records.
10. Perform additional job functions as requested by supervisor or manager.
11. Follow company's attendance policy by coming to work on time and when scheduled.
12. Follow company's safety policies and procedures.
