Telecare Corporation seeks a Peer Recovery Coach I to engage members, facilitate recovery-focused conversations, and support goal attainment. You will reinforce Telecare's RCCS by collaborating with the team and respecting each member's preferences in services and self-help programs.

You will respond to emergencies with de-escalation skills to maintain least restrictive environment and assist in coordinating care across the team.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• California Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification through CalMHSA must be obtained within 120 days of hire and maintained throughout employment.
• One year or part-time equivalent of experience supporting members with behavioral health challenges.
• Experience as a beneficiary of the public Behavioral Health system of care.
• Successful completion of Peer Support Training or Peer Employment Training.
• Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
• Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups.

What You Will Do to Change Lives

The Peer Recovery Coach I engages, inspires, and facilitates meaningful conversations with members served that assist the members to explore, create, and meet their own recovery goals. Peer Recovery Coaches provide consultation to the team to promote and reinforce Telecare's Recovery Culture as defined by the Telecare Recovery Centered Clinical System (RCCS) in which each member's point of view and preferences are recognized, understood, respected, and integrated into services and self-help programming. Additionally, Peer Recovery Coaches respond to critical situations with high-level engagement and de-escalation skills which support a least restrictive environment for members served experiencing an emergency related to a mental health/addiction challenge.

Shifts Available:

(1) Full Time | AM | Shifts: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | Days: Sunday - Thursday

(1) Full Time | PM | Shifts: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM | Days: Sunday - Thursday

(1) Full Time | NOC | Shifts: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM | Days: Sunday - Thursday

Expected starting wage range is $23.00 - $23.71. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)

• High School Diploma or GED required
• California: Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification through CalMHSA must be obtained within 120 days of your date of hire and maintained throughout employment. Failure to obtain certification within this period will result in separation with the company.

• One (1) year or part-time equivalent of experience supporting members served with behavioral health challenges

• Valid and current driver's license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
