Job summary

Caring Connections in Monticello, NY is seeking full-time Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to join our caring team. You will provide individualized support with daily living activities, monitor health, and accompany clients to appointments.

We value compassion, reliability, and teamwork. A HS diploma and PCA/HHA certification are preferred, with English fluency and a driver’s license. We offer competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Certified PCA or HHA with a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Experience in hospice, memory care, or developmental disabilities care is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and fluency in English.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license preferred.
• Compassion, patience, and dedication to delivering high-quality care.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Experience with phone apps for clocking in/out of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care, assisting with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, meal prep).
• Ensure clients' safety by assisting with mobility and transfers.
• Monitor and report health or behavior changes to supervisors.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Administer medications as directed.
• Schedule and accompany clients to appointments and social activities.
