Job summary
Always Compassionate Health in Ulster County, NY is seeking Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to join our caring team. Roles include assisting with bathing, meals, mobility, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and companionship in clients' homes, with opportunities across NHTD and TBI programs.
We offer flexible schedules, multiple case opportunities including live-in, and competitive starting pay.
Qualifications
- Must be NY-certified as HHA or PCA.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful.
- Able to work independently in clients' homes.
- Experience with NHTD/TBI is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other personal care needs.
- Help clients safely walk, transfer, reposition, and move throughout their homes.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and maintaining proper nutrition.
- Provide light housekeeping and help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe home environment.
- Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.
- Remind clients to take medications as directed in their Plan of Care.
- Assist with approved errands and community activities.
- Observe clients and report changes in condition or behavior to the appropriate clinical team.
- Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
