Qualifications

• Ordained and adheres to LCMC Statement of Faith and the congregation’s Confession of Faith.
• Master of Divinity from an accredited Lutheran seminary preferred.
• Minimum of five years of ministry experience.
• Willingness to live within the local community.

Responsibilities

• Faithfully preaching the Word, administering the Sacraments, and leading public worship in accordance with LCMC practices.
• Providing pastoral care through visitation, counseling, catechesis, weddings, funerals, and care for the homebound.
• Offering spiritual and administrative leadership in partnership with the Church Council, including meetings, staff supervision, and maintaining congregational records.
• Supporting congregational ministries such as Christian education, youth, missions, stewardship, outreach, and preschool ministry, including weekly chapel and board participation.
• Engaging the community, fostering relationships, and contributing to regular communication like newsletters and coordinated worship planning.
