Job summary

Magnolia Wellness Center in St. Louis, Missouri is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. You will assist residents with daily living activities, prepare them for therapy and appointments, transport to activities, and respond to call lights promptly.

We value teamwork and ongoing training; you must be enrolled in a CNA program or hold a CNA license, plus strong English communication. Experience with infection control and charting is helpful.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a CNA program or hold a CNA license.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Patient, tactful, cheerful, and enthusiastic with residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare residents for therapy, activities, physician visits, or religious services and transport as needed.
• Answer call lights promptly and assist with daily living activities.
• Attend in-service trainings and meetings as directed.
• Assist with proper hygiene and bathing per facility procedures.
• Follow infection-control procedures and document required information every shift.
• Protect resident rights and ensure quality of care.

Certified Nursing Assistant / Cna Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a school for certified nursing assistant / CNA or have a license as a certified nursing assistant / CNA .
• Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning at.

Certified Nursing Assistant / Cna General Duties

• Prepare residents for therapy, activities, physician visits, religious services, etc., to include transporting residents to/from such activities.
• Answer residents’ call lights promptly.
• Attend in-service educational programs, on the job training programs, and meetings as directed.
• Assist residents with proper hygiene
• Bathe residents as assigned and in accordance with established facility procedures (encourage showers and other self-help measures/activities).
• Follow infection-control procedures in accordance with established facility policy when isolation techniques are necessary.
• Chart required information every shift.
• Ensures that all consumer/resident rights are protected.
