Job summary

Oracle is hiring a Paraprofessional in Youngstown, OH, to provide instructional assistance for students in need of support. This full-time role requires commitment to the education of students academically, morally, and socially, while implementing effective curriculum strategies.

The ideal candidate must meet state requirements for Title 1 paraprofessionals. Previous experience with school-aged children and the ability to assist in teaching basic subjects are preferred qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess student abilities and provide instructional assistance through 1:1 or group workshops.
• Commit to educating the whole student – academically, morally, and socially.
• Implement result-driven curriculum to achieve significant growth.
• Attend professional development meetings as required.

Skills

Previous experience working in a school or with school age children

Ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and/or mathematics

Capability to navigate technical systems

Education

Must meet state requirements for being a Title 1 paraprofessional
