Qualifications

• Current California State Paramedic License with active accreditation.
• County Paramedic Accreditation for Sonoma/Marin within 30 days of hire.
• Paramedic Advanced Scope Training within 30 days.
• Current CPR/BLS Provider certification through the American Heart Association.
• Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Current PALS certification through the American Heart Association.
• ITLS or PHTLS certification (optional).
• Ambulance Driver Certificate.
• Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DL51).
• Valid 5-year H-6 DMV driving record meets policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide ALS patient care per approved scope, protocols, and medical direction.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and provide necessary treatments.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes.
• Safely transport patients to medical facilities.
• Maintain readiness of equipment, medications, and supplies.
• Complete accurate patient care documentation and comply with policies.
