Securitas is hiring for a Full Time Overnight Lead Security Officer to help keep our resort client's site safe in Ludlow, VT. This is a new client with an official start date of October 1, 2026.

The role includes access control, patrols, CCTV monitoring, and customer service. Weekly pay, competitive benefits, and flexible schedules are offered; no prior security experience required. This is a NON-SMOKING property.

Qualifications

• Able to walk up to 5 miles per shift on a very large property.
• Proficient with computers and digital reporting.
• Maintains a professional appearance and is dependable.
• 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Vermont Guard Card or ability to obtain before starting.

Responsibilities

• Access control and interior/perimeter patrols.
• CCTV monitoring and visitor support.
• Logging Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports.
• Vehicle patrols with a clean driving record.
• De-escalation of unruly crowds when needed.

Security Officers - Ludlow, VT

Securitas is hiring for a Full Time Overnight Lead Security Officer to help keep our resort client's site safe in Ludlow, VT. This is a new client with an official start date of October 1st, 2026.

Pay: $22.00/hr (Lead Officer)

Schedule: Monday - Friday Overnights (40 hours/week)

Basic Requirements:

• Able to walk up to 5 miles per shift - very large property inside and out
• Proficient with computers and digital reporting
• Maintains a professional appearance
• Dependable, punctual, and observant
• Comfortable initiating conversation and providing verbal engagement (e.g., greeting all who pass)
• Vermont Guard Card or the ability to obtain this prior to starting work
• Valid driver's license AND clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• This is a NON-SMOKING property. No smoking of any kind is permitted from any officers on or off duty.

Primary Security Officer Duties:

• Access control
• Interior and perimeter patrols
• CCTV monitoring
• Customer service and visitor support
• Logging Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and Incident Reports
• Vehicle patrols (MUST have a clean driving record!)
• Occasionally dealing with de-escalating unruly crowds in a professional manner

Emergency Response Duties:

• Activate and follow site emergency protocols
• Support evacuations, lockdowns, and drills
• Serve as liaison to client contacts and first responders
