Job summary

Securitas USA is hiring for a Full Time Overnight Lead Security Officer to help keep our resort client's site safe in Ludlow, VT. This is a new client with an official start date of October 1, 2026.

Pay is $22.00/hr; Schedule is Monday–Friday Overnights (40 hours/week). No security experience required; growth opportunities available. High school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license with clean record, and ability to walk long distances are required.

Qualifications

• Able to walk up to 5 miles per shift on a very large property, inside and out.
• Vermont Guard Card or ability to obtain prior to starting work.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• No smoking on or off duty per property policy.

Responsibilities

• Access control
• Interior and perimeter patrols
• CCTV monitoring
• Customer service and visitor support
• Logging Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and Incident Reports
• Vehicle patrols (must have a clean driving record)
• Occasionally de-escalating unruly crowds professionally

Securitas is hiring for a Full Time Overnight Lead Security Officer to help keep our resort client's site safe in Ludlow, VT. This is a new client with an official start date of October 1st, 2026.

Pay: $22.00/hr (Lead Officer)

Schedule: Monday - Friday Overnights (40 hours/week)

Basic Requirements:

• Able to walk up to 5 miles per shift - very large property inside and out
• Proficient with computers and digital reporting
• Maintains a professional appearance
• Dependable, punctual, and observant
• Comfortable initiating conversation and providing verbal engagement (e.g., greeting all who pass)
• Vermont Guard Card or the ability to obtain this prior to starting work
• Valid driver's license AND clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• This is a NON-SMOKING property. No smoking of any kind is permitted from any officers on or off duty.

Primary Security Officer Duties:

• Access control
• Interior and perimeter patrols
• CCTV monitoring
• Customer service and visitor support
• Logging Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and Incident Reports
• Vehicle patrols (MUST have a clean driving record!)
• Occasionally dealing with de-escalating unruly crowds in a professional manner

Emergency Response Duties:

• Activate and follow site emergency protocols
• Support evacuations, lockdowns, and drills
• Serve as liaison to client contacts and first responders
