Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking a Flex Security Officer for the Greater Burlington, VT area. The position offers $24.00/hour, full-time hours, and exposure to multiple client sites. Ideal candidates will be dependable, adaptable, and capable of delivering strong customer service throughout varying shifts.

Flex Security Officer - $24.00/hr - Greater Burlington, VT

What is a "Flex" Officer?

The Flex Officer is part of a highly adaptable team that reports directly to the Field Operations Supervisor, helping to fill in at various sites as needed. They learn multiple locations instead of one home site, allowing for rapid growth in the security field as they become a well-rounded, agile officer. They are provided full time hours, but do not have a "home base" at one site.

Pay: $24.00/hour

Schedule: FLEXIBLE, changing week to week as needed at multiple sites.

Our Flex Officers are split by their availability. We have a Day team , designated to providing coverage for 1st or 2nd shift openings. Our Night team provides coverage for shifts during the overnight hours. Our shifts are standardly 8-hour shifts , with some being 4, 6, 10, or 12 hours.

What We’re Looking For:

• Individuals who are dependable, professional, adaptable, and ready to learn
• Someone looking to grow with the company
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable working in fast-paced or changing environments
• Flexible availability (1st & 2nd and/or 3rd shift)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• High School diploma
• 18 years old or over
• Flexibility to travel to and work at multiple client sites in the Greater Burlington area
• Ability to pass an onboarding check and obtain a VT Guard Card- we will assist you in applying for this after accepting an offer of employment!
