Prairie St. John's in Fargo, ND, is seeking an Overnight Intake Clinician for a full-time night schedule to support admission decisions for children, adolescents, and adults with behavioral health and substance use needs.

Responsibilities include evaluating potential patients to determine the appropriate level of care, documenting findings, and coordinating admissions with the treatment team. New graduates are welcome to apply, with a strong focus on compassionate care and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or family and marriage therapy, or RN license.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities, including setting boundaries and maintaining confidences.

Overnight Intake Clinician – Full-time Opportunity

Join the expanding team in our new state-of-the-art 132-bed behavioral health facility!

Prairie St. John's has been providing services for children, adolescents, and adults to address behavioral health and substance use challenges since 1997. Prairie offers inpatient hospitalization, day treatment, and intensive outpatient services. Accredited by The Joint Commission, we are the largest, freestanding behavioral health facility in the region. More than 4,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Prairie St. John's.

Prairie St. John's currently has a Full-time opening for a Needs Assessment Intake Clinician. Admissions Clinicians assess potential patients to determine the appropriate level of care. New graduates welcome!

Coverage Needs

• Schedule: 7 days on/ 7 days off (Wednesday-Tuesday)
• Shift time: 10:00pm-8:00am

Intake Clinician Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or family and marriage therapy; or RN license
• Superb documentation skills
• Good communication and relationship skills including the ability to set boundaries, hold confidences, establish and maintain trust.
