Job summary

Cedar Park TMS in Opelousas, LA is seeking a licensed Therapist to provide individual and group counseling in our IOP outpatient program. The role focuses on patients with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders; weekdays only, no weekends.

You will develop treatment plans with the interdisciplinary team, maintain accurate records, participate in case conferences, and stay current with best practices in the field. A master's degree and licensure (LMSW/LCSW/LPC) are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field.
• Current state licensure as a professional counselor or social worker (LMSW, LCSW, PLPC, LPC).
• Experience working with patients with substance abuse and mental health disorders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with patients.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Participate in case conferences and treatment team meetings.
