Job summary

Beacon Behavioral Hospital in Baton Rouge is seeking a licensed therapist to join our IOP team. You will provide individual and group counseling to patients with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to tailor treatment plans.

Weekdays only, no weekends. A Master's degree and active state licensure (LPC/LCSW/LMSW) are required, along with strong communication and teamwork skills to support long-term recovery.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field.
• Current state licensure as a professional counselor or social worker (LMSW, LCSW, P-LPC, LPC).
• Experience with patients with substance abuse and mental health disorders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with patients.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Participate in case conferences and treatment team meetings.
• Stay current with best practices and trends in substance abuse and mental health treatment.
