Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an outpatient clinic setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within a collaborative team led by a physician.

Responsibilities include triage, medication administration, education, and coordinating with providers to ensure high-quality ambulatory care. BLS/ACLS required and at least one year in a clinic or hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board is required.
• BLS or ACLS certification is required.
• One year of clinic or acute hospital nursing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care following established standards and procedures.
• Obtains patient consent and ensures confidentiality.
• Gathers health history, vital signs, and chief complaint and assesses conditions.
• Delivers patient care per guidelines, standards, and laws/regulations.
• Executes treatments, administers medications, and documents progress; consults physicians as needed.
• Educates patients and families about health status and management of conditions.
• Documents data using medical records systems.
• Participates in multidisciplinary teams to improve care processes.
• Monitors quality assurance data for acute and chronic care management.
