Job summary

Trellis Paradise in Las Vegas, NV seeks a full-time Occupational Therapist Assistant to support the Staff OT in delivering resident care and treatment.

You will document per regulations, help ensure safety, participate in team meetings, educate families, train Restorative Aides, and assist with equipment and discharge planning.

Applicants must have an accredited COTA program degree, be licensed, and maintain CE requirements; proficiency with Net Health and Point Click Care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from accredited COTA program.
• Proficient with Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state.
• Maintain continuing education requirements as per state practices.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by the occupational therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation per facility and payer requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment with infection control and equipment maintenance.
• Assist nursing with training of Restorative Aides.
• Communicate progress and discharge planning with the multidisciplinary team.
