Job summary

Decatur County Healthcare in Parsons, TN, is seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab program. The facility provides post-acute care, geriatric services, and long-term care with a stable, team-focused environment.

The OTA will work under an Occupational Therapist, perform ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and progress assessments, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to patient recovery while upholding the CAPLICO values and exceptional care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Hold a current and active State license/registration where applicable.
• Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including ADL retraining and therapeutic activities.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising OT to adjust treatments as required.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising OT.
